What is a good winter jacket

Now the winters here get pretty bad weather, so Ive always sacrificed style when it comes to winter jackets. I think I can do better, not sure if this belongs in my log so I thought Id make a thread. I went to Zara and saw 2 jackets, 1 thaf I bought and I want to have a second opinion to be sure. The black hooded bomber is the one bought. Red jacket is what I currently wear in the winter. Its an amazing jacket but not very sexy if I look at it objectively.

Also tried this one, but I didnt buy it because it doesnt have a hood (so my hair will instantly get messed up if I go outside)
