Keto / carnivore.
Basically nothing but meat, and as much meat as I want (I'm not counting cals). That's literally it. Haven't been exercising (since lockdown started).
It took about 2 weeks to adjust (during which I craved sugar like crazy, and had no energy). Once that was over, I had literally zero hunger throughout the day - I now eat basically one meal a day in the evening. That's not an intentional thing; I'm just not hungry until about 4/5pm.

I hate counting calories as it stresses me out counting everything and not getting calories exactly right + the split of macros etc, So this was something i was wondering as well.
If i was going to do the same method you used, could you give us some examples of your meals? like how much you would eat etc? Im going to go to carnivore / Keto diet for a few months and try to get to around 10% - 12% BF.

Meals - I don't have "planned meals". I just eat as much meat (and nothing else) as I want.
Eg today I ate 2.5 of these packets:
MyFitnessPal says it's this many calories in total:
I also had a tiny bit of unsweetened almond milk in my coffee - but that's only like 30 cals.
I'm aiming for under 30g carbs per day.

^ I haven't noticed any difference.
Two of my mates have been on keto/carnivore for about 2 years. They haven't ever had any low-T symptoms, so seems fine. (Your mileage may vary obviously).

Go to Victoria Markets (or Port Melbourne Markets) - you can buy a shitload of meat for about half the price of Coles/Woolies shit. Especially if you're willing to buy in bulk. I usually stock up about once every 3 weeks (I was just short last night, hence buying stuff from Coles to tide me over for a couple days).

Im going to try this too. Its kinda hard to buy meat here that i know what it is but even i have to just buy a bunch of steak / chicken / some fish etc i will just try to make it work. Keto diets have always worked better for me anyway.

Absolutely buy in bulk ahead of time - so that when you have those sugar/carb cravings, you'll have a tonne of meat in your fridge you can eat.
Most people I've seen fail a keto diet only fail it because they have no food when they're hungry, and carbs are so fucking convenient to reach for...

Yep, Ive started already. 400G of beef and some broccoli. I was a bit unsure of what to buy in the store as well as the date to use them by etc but got enough for the week (Im also adding eggs which i guess is ok for some meals) and veg as well (Frozen green beans + Broccoli will be the main ones). Ive done the steak and eggs diet before (Which worked until i couldn't stomach another steak) . My only issue would be drinking alcohol (like once a week or so) but other than that think ill be able to stick to it.

One last thing, Did you slowly decrease the amount your eating as you were dropping BF? Or is the no carb aspect enough to lose the weight without any change of calories?
