So it's probably visible in my profile pic; I have a pronounced farmer's tan. My back neckline especially. It's not a huge deal but I've had a few girls comment on it when I take my shirt off, just light teasing. I'd like to even it out, but my skin burns fast, and I'd like to avoid fading my tattoos anymore.

Does anyone here have experience with spray tans or products like them? Or else is there anyway to protect skin effectively in a tanning bed? Just looking for general tanning tips, especially from fair skinned guys. Thanks

I'm gonna watch this space too

I need to tan up but I don't want skin cancer either. My ex used to spray tan me sometimes which looked good but interested in others thoughts

I'm fair as hell. My skin does tan, but it's far easier for me to burn. My usual cycle is... Do something outside, burn, then tan.

I don't intentionally tan, or use any products. I think getting sun is good for you, while at the same time don't want to overdo it. I've seen plenty of women that spent way too much time in a tanning bed/laying out, look like their skin is leather by the time they hit 40.

@Redtater if you want to even it out, you can start wearing more tank tops or spend some time outside shirtless. Doesn't even have to be a long time something like 20-30 minutes while doing yardwork/going for a jog/whatever.

I've had women joking the same way, it's never stopped anyone from continuing to see me. I really don't worry much about it.
