Hey all,
I was thinking of starting a side hustle to make some extra money.
When it comes to writing blog-like content, is it better to do it on a large platform, like Medium, or create a personal website?
Medium or personal blog?

Web designer here. If you're in it for the long haul, use WordPress.
Even then, I'd suggest you learn to start to use WordPress anyway because you want to own any online platform for your online business. You're only renting space when you write in Medium.

It's actually possible to do both.
You write on your personal blog and then republish on medium.
It's 100% supported by medium and you can even provide a link to original post (on your website), which will tell google to rank *your* website higher when people click on the medium article.
This way you are building the popularity of your website, while still benefiting from medium's organic reach and established audience.
