Hey Andy, hope you're killing it today.

I just want to suggest that you gotta have a more direct way to make your forum here known. I just stumbled upon here just by randomly exploring your website, until I clicked on the "Forum" button. Not many people will have the patience like me to discover this.

Also, there's gotta be a reason as to why this forum exists and how it differentiates form discussing things in the comments.

Lol sorry if I'm getting ahead of you. I just want the best for this place. It's like the bro group I never had because back at school I'd spend waay too much time studying than make friends and get laid. Can't wait to change that, and can't wait to see this place grow.

GGL seems too overwhelming for me when I just discovered it a few weeks ago.

To some extent i think that sense of being overwhelmed at first and overcoming it to actually post your log and be in the mix with guys that are ahead of you is a good thing

You dont want to be surrounded by guys on your level or below you (unless you are elite like Andy and your actual goal is to help people)

The content isn't hardcore. I like it. No problems with that.

The site just seems cluttered. It's a bit tough to navigate with so much posts. Though if I really try, I can find my way around it. It's just that it takes effort to get around haha

Yep - bloated and clunky is how i view the old place. Still love it though

If there was a page specifically for beginners/newbies to use I think that would work well. Similar in some respects to the sidebar method used on TRP, it could contain links to suggested articles, videos or other publications that we as a forum feel are central to killing your inner loser and starting this style of self-improvement. This would ensure that we're all on the same page when posting, having carried out this reading. Anyone who hasn't taken the time to do so will likely stand out and can be directed to this beginners area. Andy, you likely have all the material for this already on your main site but it's not on the forum right now. As the forum grows, I imagine a lot more traffic will come directly here so this is obviously going to be more important in the future than right now as we're only 20 odd members, all of which likely use your site/have been coached by you. But that might not be the case in the future, they might come straight to the forum landing page and so there's a need to get 'up to speed' quickly on what it is we're about.

Connected to that, I couldn't seem to find any 'rules' here unless I'm missing them? This doesn't have to be too clear-cut and I'm definitely not suggesting banning people if they arbitrarily fall foul of any 'rules'. But again, it could help us all get on the same page as quickly possible and ensure we're congruent with each other. 10-12 is obviously pretty common, we could all initially agree to the current 'rules'/KYIL commandments and they could also be changed if needed as the forum develops.

You are on many levels a more patient guy than Chris was

He encouraged at the start i think a more intimidating environment as a way to weed out the guys he considered not worth it

My read is also that the niche he initially wanted was not the absolute low level guys trying to claw their way up but the underachieving lads in the middle who could become elite

He pivoted a ton - he wrote the losing your virginity stuff later on for instance

My only issue with a more open way forward is that im concerned that you may get a diluted version of the hardcore community GLL was/is

But I have a lot of faith in you and your vision so for sure im along for the ride over here
