Hey bro. I've been cutting porn and masturbation every now and then. Have you read any books or watched any videos about porn, masturbation and such? What is the thing that motivated you to have such goals anyways?
I gotta say that personally I use(d) porn and masturbation to get the validation I need from females. It's like massaging some sore part inside me. If you can crack your code and identify why you are drawn to those compulsions (other than our biological wiring for that) then you will have no problem going monk.
In my own experience it's easiest to cut those things if you have filled the void with something else. Such as physical exercise, social interactions, studying, working, taking care of yourself.

Thanks @hyrtsmyrts. My porn usage is much lighter than it was 6 months ago but my goal is to completely eliminate it. I think that the main thing that attracts me to PMO is general horniness and boredom. I believe that the more I build a more exciting and fulfilling lifestyle for myself the less I will be attracted to the cheap excitement of porn.
I spent the whole day at the beach and remembered how all of my best childhood memories were at the beach and playing in the ocean. Today, I played bachiball, put-put golf, I skin-boarded and swam in the ocean.
I felt a lot less shame for feeling behind other kids by not going to college because I realized that it is important for me to enjoy my life and to do what makes me happy.
