Update: I approached two more girls yesterday, so that makes 12 for the week.

Goals for this week:
  • 4 gym sessions
  • Stay under calorie targets
  • One BJJ session
  • Talk to 15 girls
  • Go on 2 dates
  • Talk about my dating goals on dates and either invite her back/talk about sex/touch her
  • Take ONE new Tinder Picture
2022 Goals:
(1) Get Abs
(2) Get to 15 lifetime lays (currently at 10)
(3) Move to a new city with lots of single girls - DONE 6/12

Update for the past week:

Fitness
Mon: 173.8 lbs
Tue: 174.2
Wed: 174.2
Thurs: 174.4
Fri: 174.8
Sat: 174.6
Sun: 173.8

Avg Weight for the week: 174.22 (down .82 lbs from last week)

I went slightly over calories on Tuesday night. Hit all 4 workouts. Steps have been consistently high. I didn't go to BJJ this week though. I'll aim to do two sessions this week.

Dating:
I approached 15 girls this past week. Got a number from one girl who doesn't seem to be responsive. No worries. Hooked up with a girl from Bumble and also saw the instadate girl from last week again.

How did I do with my goals?
  • 4 gym sessions - Done.
  • Stay under calorie targets - Went 300 calories over one day. All other days were on-target.
  • One BJJ session - Not done.
  • Talk to 15 girls - Done.
  • Go on 2 dates - Done.
  • Talk about my dating goals on dates and either invite her back/talk about sex/touch her - Done on both dates.
  • Take ONE new Tinder Picture - Done, took a cafe picture with another guy from coaching who lives nearby.
2022 Goals:

(2) Get to 15 lifetime lays (currently at 10)
(3) Move to a new city with lots of single girls - DONE 6/12

Update for the past week:

Fitness
Mon: 173.2
Tue: 173.8
Wed: 172.6
Thurs: 172.6
Fri: 173
Sat: 171.2
Sun: 175.6

Avg Weight for the week: 173.08 (down 1.14 lbs from last week)

I stuck to my calorie targets most of the week and made some good fat-loss progress, but binged on junk food on Saturday when I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed which spiked my weight. I went back to normal on Sunday though. Went to the gym 3 times and BJJ once.

Dating:
I approached 9 girls this past week. Got a number from a girl who wants to meet up this coming week.

For dates: I had a date with a new girl from Hinge scheduled for Thursday, but she texted me two hours beforehand saying that she still had feelings for her ex and wasn't ready to date again. I wasn't too bothered by it since I had other things I could do. I had third dates with Instadate Girl and Bumble girl.

How did I do with my goals?
Forgot to post what my goals were for this week but I'll post them here:
  • 4 gym sessions - Not done. 3/4.
  • Stay under calorie targets - Went WAY over calories on Saturday. All other days were on-target
  • Two BJJ sessions - Not done. 1/2.
  • Talk to 16 girls - Not done. 9/16.
  • Go on 2 dates - Done.
Didn't hit most of my goals this week, but I did SOMETHING for all of them. So even for a "bad" week, I still made some progress. And for dating and approaches, my performance this week is still WAAAY better than I was doing two months ago.

  • Talk to one girl in a location I'm less confident in (grocery store, bookstore, near the Uni campus)

Good thing that you adjusted your goals for the next week to something more attainable, speaks volumes in terms of humility.

Thanks man. Yeah I think the goal of 16 approaches had me stressed on Saturday and is part of what fueled me saying 'screw it' and overeating on Saturday. 7 is much more attainable at this point for me.

Missed a few weeks of updates. Not too much to report. I was sick for a bit and then last week I had a work trip to Europe so all my goal stuff was sort of on-pause. I'll try to post my daily updates here. I've been posting daily in the facebook group so no reason not to just copy/paste the updates here.

Current Weight is 172.4. I've been averaging about 7 approaches a week the past few weeks.

Sunday update.
Bit of a lazy day yesterday. I had things I wanted to do but ended up playing a lot of video games and overeating. I'm going to take a break from games for the next few weeks since I think I'm using them less for fun and more for escapism and they're triggering some bad eating habits, 174.4 lbs this morning.

Monday Update:

174.4 lbs this morning.

I had off work today to recover from traveling. I slept late, then went to the gym around 11. Met with my accountability partner, bought groceries for the week, then met with Andy for my last coaching call. I did not play any video games today. I want to take a break from games for at least a week since I think they've been triggering my mindless eating habit.

1862/2005 calories. 10620 steps

Tuesday Update:

My parents came to visit me today and arrived in the early afternoon. I took a short walk around noon to see if I could do an approach before they arrived. I saw one cute girl but didn't approach. Didn't see any others while I was out.

Spent the afternoon hanging with them, took a break to go to the gym, then had dinner with them in the evening. We had a nice time and they also brought our dog who was ridiculously happy to see me.

Also scheduled a date with a girl for Thursday and reached out to two other girls to try to set up dates for the weekend. Still trying to get a second date with a girl I cold-approached a few weeks ago. She seems to be down for it but schedules haven't lined up yet.

Morning Weight: 170.0 lbs

Calories: 1917/2005. 16K steps

No video games
