So my current situation prevents me from booking dates left and right on multiple different dates. At this rate, I am currently limited to only taking 2 Tinder and Bumble dates every Saturday.
Even more motivation to move out.
So my question is this: does not swiping for a few days to a week or 2 affect how Tinder's and Bumble's algorithm show you to everyone else? If someone knows about this, let me know.

Unless someone has worked for Tinder/Bumble, no one really knows.
I'd be surprised if they didn't include some "last active" in some capacity. I know that after several weeks / month they stop showing you to people (at least that's what a Tinder notification says to get you to come back / delete it). Shorter times probably fine.
Or you can follow my method of doing a few swipes per day (currently I do 10 on Tinder, 20 on Bumble).

My problem is just having too much matches and too much dates for my current situation. Bumble is working waay too well for me. ~50 (didn't count) swipes -> 20 matches -> 10 chats -> 4 dates.
I can't take more than what my circumstances can. So was thinking maybe 1 a day will do?

You could also stack dates to account for inevitable flakes. If more than one does pull through, I'll admit it does feel shitty to have to flake but life happens and I've been able to reschedule if I give her enough heads up.
