So I don't have the money to buy the budget camera that Andy recommends. My friend whos a photographer suggested that I buy the Nikon D3500 with the kit.
Do you guys have any other budget friendly suggestions,? 300-600 Canadian

Dunno what province you're in, but this is as far as I can tell is a good camera that fits you're budget...

I was just seeing how much an entry level DSLR is. That's really it. Not going to buy anythinf for another month or so. But I'd figure I'd start researching and getting familiar with it now.

Second hand is always an option. It may be a few years older, but remember they still took good photos a few years ago

So after a bit of research I have found that the Nikon d3500 has a better optimized auto foucs which is a plus and it can wirelessly connect to my phone so i can view what the camera is seeing
