My current #1 goal is losing fat. I'm not fat by normal standards, but my physique doesn't do much attraction work for me. And more to the point, it doesn't look the way I want it to. The long-term goal is to lose 12 lbs by the start of June. That's purposely an easy goal to hit. I plan to accomplish that much sooner, but it's been a while since I've finished a goal I set, so I'm setting the bar at a level I know I can hit. The short-term goal associated with that is to lose 2 lbs/month. I'm currently at 174.0 lbs. I will hit 172.0 by January 30th.
#2 goal is to have more adventures. Which sounds a bit vague. I will start working through the list of "cool things that I've always wanted to try". Snowboarding, Rock-Climbing with Ropes, Travel to New Zealand and walk through Mordor, etc. The short-term goal associated with that is to take a snowboarding lesson this month. This will help relieve the social isolation caused by Corona and give me some good stories when things open up. I'll be able to tell girls I did something other than sit inside and play video games for the last year. My area isn't locked down like some other areas, but social opportunities are scarce.
I'll likely pursue dating goals once I reach my body-fat goal, unless I've underestimated the amount of weight I need to lose. I'll date in the meantime, but won't associate any goals with it. I'll re-launch my tinder profile when I've achieved my physique goals. I already lift weights and will continue doing so. I also do Jiu-Jitsu 2-3 times per week, so the main point of pursuit in my physique goals will be sticking to my diet.
Recap:
- Reach 172.0 lbs or lower by January 30th
- Take a Snowboarding Lesson by January 31st
